About
Emily Freidenrich is a writer, researcher, and art-lover.
She is the author of ALMOST LOST ARTS (Chronicle Books, 2019) and THE ART OF BEATRIX POTTER (Chronicle Books, 2016). Her writing has also appeared on Artsy, in American Craft, and on Literary Hub. She holds degrees in art history and cultural anthropology from Western Washington University, and a Certificate in Museum Studies from the University of Washington. She is currently working on a book about the jobs of artists prior to their art careers.
Emily works by day in book publishing, specializing in photo research and permissions. She lives in Seattle.
